MCR: National Veterans Shrine

Memorial Day or Decoration Day is an American holiday used to recognize individuals who died while serving their country in the armed forces . In honor of our service members who gave their lives, the American Village established a veteran’s shrine. The National Veterans Shrine is located in Montevallo, Alabama. The shrine is patterned after Philadelphia’s Carpenters Hall. The Shrine honors our veterans’ service and sacrifice for America and its freedom.
