Hosted by Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey and Gentleman’s Jack, Arts, Beats and Lyrics, which began as a small arts show in Atlanta, has become one of the hottest showcases of upcoming artists and music. The multi-city tour, in its 11th year, will feature artists Dubelyooand Zack Murray among other globally recognized names.
Dwayne ‘Dubelyoo’ Wright is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia with a passion for Hip-hop and a talent for blending urban and pop cultures. He started drawing as a child and as an adult became an ad designer who worked for companies like Nike and Red Bull, and his work has been featured in Complex and XXL magazines. Wright captures the essence of hip-hop, featuring techniques such as acrylics, oils, watercolors, and charcoal.
Zack Murray is a Videographer, Director, and Editor whose primary experience is in Commercial Production. He promises to thrill with original images and documentaries on current events and trends.
The event includes a surprise performance by a nationally recognized rap artist. For more details see www.jackhoneyabl.com/ & www.artbeatsandlyrics.com
Last year’s edition included mixing by Birmingham’ s own DJ extraordinaire DJ Radu, art work by hip hop heavy weights Two Chainz, T.I., and the Dungeon family, and a performance by legendary rap rude boy Mystikal.
The city of Birmingham reprises it’s version of the event on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 7pm until 12am at Regions field. In the past it was held at WorkPlay, and this year’s presence at the vast, luxurious baseball facility sets the stage for an electric event that attendee’s from around the city, state, and region will enjoy. It is our hope that historical attendance of 3000 will be easily surpassed.
Magic City Radar is pleased to present you with this preview of the event, and we will continue to update you as the day of the event approaches.
