Last Friday night, MCR was very pleased to hear the sounds of Mr. Norris Jones perform @ Perfect Note. In addition to Mr. Jones, for a first time, MCR was able to view and listen to the sounds of an incredible band unfamiliar to many jazz audiences in the Magic City.  The band was introduced as, Off the Chain. Without a doubt, MCR can honestly say, Off the Chain is definitely a band you will want to keep on your RADAR. Along with Mr. Jones, the band is comprised of an exceptional drummer, bass guitar player, and Saxophonist.

The saxophone player, La’Roy Bodiford, led many of the songs throughout the evening. In the video snippet shown below, Mr. Bodiford plays a sample of his smooth jazz rendition on Tevin Campbell’s, Can We Talk.
