Hello MCR! My name is Chris Steele, I’m from Birmingham, Alabama, and I’m an actor in the movie we spoke about. The director’s name is Kevin Wilson Jr.

The synopsis of the movie is viewing the story of Emmett Till from the perspective of Moses Wright, played by actor L.B. Williams. Mr. Wilson was on set a few days before we started shooting the film, and found out that the Emmett Till memorial sign had be vandalized by gun fire. In response, he and members of the crew raised funds to replace the memorial.

As actors, the crucial element was identifying with the characters that we portrayed in order to render the most realistic account of the events surrounding them possible. To that end, Jasmine brought incredible energy to the set. She’s a really fantastic black woman and actress.

The film is set to release in the summer of 2017, and will available for viewing at Festival International du Film Pan African De Cannes as well as other theaters.
